John turned 1 and we had fun celebrating with both sets of grandparents over the past week! The past two years have been full of heartache, anxiety, joy and growth as we began the journey of parenthood. Children are a gift from God and we are thankful everyday for such an undeserved and amazing gift! He is fun, adventurous, silly, curious, and analytical. He started walking around 11 months, he taught himself how to scoot down stairs, he loves spicy food, swimming in the pool, screaming a little too loud and chasing Anna Jamison around.
We have learned lots about communication, patience, selfishness and joy and we are very thankful for this child and excited for the rest of the journey!
