We got to have a visit from the Jamison's last week! It was really fun to watch them all play together and Steph and I deserved our naps each day with the kids!

The piano was a hit!

Christmas Part 2

On Christmas day we headed to Nashville...

Aunt Anna got a mandolin for Christmas and John was very intrigued, he even got to strum a little!

Pop and Lala got him a fire truck that he loves to ride and even wants to wear the hat when we leave the house!

Pop has an antique train that John got to watch go round and round and even blow the whistle!
It was so fun to watch the joy in John's eyes this Christmas as he experienced new things!

Christmas Part I

John got a recordable book from Grandma and Grandpa with their voices reading him the story of Frosty the Snowman! It has quickly become a family favorite activity.
Grandma always includes Craisins for John!

He loved getting to unwrap it, but then didn't understand that we threw the paper away. He tried to put it back on the book once we had finished unwrapping it.He recognized their voices!

Listening with daddy!

more kale please!

In my ever growing search to find ways to prepare veggies that John will enjoy eating I find a winner...Baked Kale Chips!

Chop Kale up into small/medium size pieces
spray with Olive Oil and seasoning salt
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-15 mins until crispy

It comes out of the oven the consistency of dried parsley which is a little bit of a turn off but he doesn't seem to mind! Try it out for you or your kids!
